La Cala Fair

MIJAS VILLAGE

The Fair begins on Wednesday the 27th with the Day specially dedicated to children. On the other days don't miss any activities of the fair: street parades, attractions, good food, Daytime Fair and musical performances. This year the group "Medina Azahara" will perform on Saturday night at the Fair.

Evening Horse Racing

COSTA DEL SOL HIPPODROME

Once again the races come back to the Hippodrome but this time the date will be on Friday 29th of July. This day will be dedicated to Mijas and five races will be celebrated along with an endless amount of activities. On Saturday the Racetrack will reopen it's doors with the celebration of a Rock & Roll Festival in benefit of CUDECA (from 8:30pm).

IES Villa De Mijas Summer Party

VIRGEN DE LA PEÑA SQUARE, MIJAS VILLAGE

Students from the IES Villa de Mijas high school have organised a Summer Party in the Main Square of the Village with the aim of collecting funds for their end of term trip. It will be on Saturday 30th starting at 8 pm. On the 20th of August they will organise another party to continue raising funds for their great trip.

Charity Dance Festival

MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM, MIJAS VILLAGE

On Saturday 30th at the Municipal Auditorium the III Dance Festival will be celebrated offering performances and choreographies of the Dance School Expression. The entrance fee is 2 euros and all money will go to ADIMI..

Live Mijas by Night

The third edition of Vive Mijas by Night is here for the summer months. The Department of tourism for the municipality of Mijas promotes once again this tourism initiative designed to revitalize the image and the tourist offer of the municipality with the tapa route and the craft market, to be held in the plaza Virgen de La Peña in Mijas Pueblo.

The Craft market and live performances are every Tuesday and Thursday at the Plaza Virgen de La Peña. The price of a tapa and a drink is just 1,50 €.
